The Human Resources Division provides administrative expertise and services to Police and Civilian employees. These services include personnel transactions starting with on-boarding and orientation of new hires through separations and retirements. As a New Jersey Civil Service department, all transactions such as certifications, leaves, title changes, etc. are processed through the HR division. HR is also responsible for the scheduling and payroll functions, as well as providing guidance on labor and employee relations, organization design/development, and manager effectiveness.
