S.O.A.R. Program - Special opportunities for Achievement & Reawakening (S.O.A.R.), administered by the Office on Youth. S.O.A.R. delivers services to children and families from the community. The purpose of the program is to encourage community participation by stressing the importance of providing a safe environment, which is alcohol, tobacco, and drug free. S.O.A.R. emphasizes the importance of educational achievement, recreational activities and counseling for youth ages 6-14 and their families.
The S.O.A.R. program has been serving the residents of the City of Elizabeth with our after school programs and summer camps since 1996. Located in School #23, our ongoing mission is to help youth in the city of Elizabeth between the ages of 6-14 reach their limitless potential through tutoring, various club activities, theatre arts, recreation, nutrition workshops, and much more.
